How to make Prawn Pulao or Prawns Biryani?
Prawn Pulao | Prawns Biryani Recipe:

Ingredients:

√ ½ cup prawns
√ 3 tsps ginger-garlic paste
√ 5 green chillies
√ 1 tsp jeera powder
√ 1 onion
√ 5 tomatoes
√ ½ cup grated coconut
√ ½ cup coconut milk
√ ¼ cup oil
√ Salt-according to taste
√ 2 ½ cups basmati rice
√ 7 or 8 cloves
√ 3 tsps cinnamon powder
√ 3 cardamoms
√ Salt
√ 3 tsps butter

Method:

♦ Add water and parboil the rice
♦ Drain and keep aside.
♦ Put the pan on fire, add half of the oil. Add thinly sliced onions and then fry until golden brown.
♦ Remove and keep aside
♦ Now add the ginger-garlic paste, green chilli paste and fry until a nice aroma comes.
♦ Then add the cleaned prawns and fry for 3-4 minutes.
♦ Then add the cumin powder, cut tomatoes and mix well.
Cook on a medium heat until they soften.
♦ Now add the grated coconut, coconut milk, and salt and garam masala powder.
♦ Remove after 5 minutes.
♦ Empty the gravy into a casserole and top it with parboiled rice.
♦ Garnish with fried onions, finely cut coriander and a few mint leaves.
♦ Cover with a lid, seal the sides with atta dough and cook on slow heat till rice is done.
♦ Serve hot with raita.
